11th Sept 21 The Green Knight - By David Lowery This film I've been running around and checking every day on google for its release but due to covid they kept pushing the dates any time I neared it. But finally, I got my hands(or should I say eyes) on it and watched it in 2 parts which I normally do. The film is about a coward knight played by Dev Patel who faces the greatest knight man has seen in a duel which he calls 'a game' and in an instant, the coward becomes the most celebrated person in the kingdom. But this fame comes at a price that Dev will have to pay 1 year later and that is what this film is about. Filled with lots of ideas and metaphors. Needless to say, the film absorbs you from the first minute. Which is normal for someone(like me) who is familiar with David's previous work. But this film doesn't make you wait for a beat as much as Rooney Mara did in 'The Ghost Story', instead, it moves at a pace of a snake, taking twists and turns, jump sc...
